I am a native Minnesotan and although I have lived in North Dakota and Wyoming, Minnesota has always been my home. I enjoy working out, cycling, hiking and traveling in my spare time but don’t worry I won’t bore you with the details when you’re in my office. When you come to see me for a session, the time is yours and we focus on the changes you want to make in your life, relationship, your ways of coping with stress or managing anxiety and depression. I strive to be warm, compassionate and nonjudgmental. I will listen carefully to you; your story, your experience and your perspective.
I received my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota and my Master of Education from North Dakota State University. More recently I have attended extensive training in strategic therapy and clinical hypnosis, mindfulness, advanced training in the Gottman Method of Couple’s Therapy, Working with Trauma and Affairs Using the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Couple’s Therapy.
